Hi guys! I wanted to add a bit more of the writer behind the post to my blog. Anyone that knows me is fully aware of my adoration for fashion. Now, I wouldn’t call myself a fashion guru but I dabble in a good accessory and nicely planned fit from time to time. Above, is an outfit I literally put together last minute on a rainy day. My only requirement was to wear some form of a boot due to the rain and everything else came after the selected off white boots.
It was tastefully paired with a pleather tan blouse and chocolate trousers that appropriately stopped midway of my boots. And what’s a nice outfit without its accessories? So, I added a pearl and gold trim necklace with yellow tinted sunglasses for good measure. Oh and we absolutely cannot leave out this fierce faux coat to top the look off. Again, this was a lazy outfit in my mind but warranted multiple comments the day I wore it. This just goes to show what you may imagine as minor others will perceive as major.
To drive this even closer to home, stop minimizing what you have! Oftentimes, the very thing we overlook is something God can use to draw people closer to Him. All it takes is one conversation to witness His glory to someone. We all can’t write to nations but we can reach at least one person. So don’t just take my outfit of the month as a fashion statement but an invitation to wear your faith wherever you go. Fashion is fleeting but your faith is will outlast the test of time. Be blessed!
