Imaginary Disappointment

What are your biggest challenges?

As I start this new year, I realize there is a fear that has been on my heels for quite some time. That fear is imaginary disappointment. A fear to move because of the what if’s that plague my mind. Procrastination luring me to the dance floor of my life with the same two step as I continue to keep my talents locked away.

Heavenly Father help those who haven’t started this year in courage, boldness, or hope. Give us peace for anxious minds that work faster than our actual hands to do the work we are called to do. Let this new year be different and not merely because we want to prove people wrong or seek some kind of fleeting validation. Help us understand that every moment with You sparks new opportunities to be better, bolder, and less fearful to embrace who we are and what we have to share with the world in Jesus Name, amen!
