Run Free.

Greetings Rose Buddy!

Children are the best examples I can think of in regards to running freely. There’s this pinch of excitement coupled with a sense of carelessness that I can definitely use in my walk with Christ. They run in dirt. They run in the snow. They’ll even run in the rain with the same energy as if it were a sunny, crisp day. Where am I going with this?

Well, in life we will face hardships. As we go through whatever this life may bring, we have to remember that in Christ we too have the ability to run free! Remember that we are His Children and there is a divine rest that comes with this inheritance. This isn’t a run in the physical but in the spiritual! We continue to run and not get weary and walk and not faint thanks to our Good Father (Isaiah 40:31). There’s so much going on globally and locally that it can be hard to see that we have this ability. However, I’d like to remind you that it is indeed our right to boldly run free in Jesus! We were reborn into a life of freedom and it is the trick of the enemy to keep us mentally bound and distracted.

Today, I urge you to run free in Christ. What a waste it is to be given divine and ultimate freedom by The Blood of Jesus and still live a bound life in our minds. The Cross was not a monument for us to look back on in amazement and monthly ritual but the foundation of our faith! Jesus freely gave up His Life so that we may freely live! So run free! Run free doesn’t mean life stops happening. It means we will not let whatever happens in life determine how we choose to live it!

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Divine Strength that helps us to run this race of life. When times are hard, we will choose to lean more on You than our own intellect and finite wisdom. Help us when we are tempted and I pray we take the Help that is given to us. We repent of being trying to run this race without you and we come back to You as little children! Lead us, protect us, as we yield to Your Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen!

Alright guys! That’s all I have for you today. I pray that you are encouraged and remember you have the right to freedom because Jesus made it Right on The Cross. Be blessed ✞
