Mounted.

Greetings Rose Buddy!

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

This will be the last post for this year and what a year it has been! Before we close out I do believe it is proper to reflect on what God has done for us in 2020. I know we have been flooded with an enormous amount of terrible news. From natural deaths, COVID deaths, and senseless murders, it can become very easy to only focus on the those things. However, I would like to do as the Bible instructs and that is to think on those things that are of good report, those this that are pure and of God. This is not to ignore the wronging things that haven happened but more so to add balance so we can have a hope for the future.

With everything that has happened it is important to see where we matter in all of this. As believers, we have the answer to the world’s problem. If you aren’t aware, the world’s problem is sin and the Answer is Jesus. So with all that’s transpired this year it should alert us that the world is crying out for a savior. Not all will preach in the pulpit, but know that your presence matters. God may call you to lead at your job, in government offices, and even in your home. Wherever He leads you make sure you’re mounted in His Word. Don’t allow the negativity to distract you from your purpose in life. Christians all have the same purpose which is to spread The Good News of Jesus. Now, how that is carried out is different for each of us because we are all different.

So, in this year we reflect on what tools God has given us to keep us fortified in Him to tackle those future giants. We can’t cry to gain a mountaintop experience and ignore being mounted. This may have been a valley season for you, but know God desires to mount you in the valley. He desires to have you anchored and rooted in Him so you will be able to take the right path to the mountain. Even during regular hiking, experienced mountain climbers know that there are various ways to climb a mountain but going the wrong way or going ill-equipped can lead you to a side with an avalanche or a side with bears. This is how we look trying to get to Mt. Zion on our own and forsaking The Lords Help. So, I urge you to not enter another year not even another day without seeking God’s Help. Make sure you are taking time to be mounted in Him because your mountain too experience is bigger than you. It’s for you to show others how to get there. Others need to see how you made it out and where your hope is placed in such a dark and dreary world.

Okay guys! Be on the lookout for my last video of the year on my YouTube channel which will air on Wednesday morning. I’ll pray that you stay safe and have a Happy New Year!!!! Peace!
