Isaiah 45:5  I am The Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded you, even though you have not known Me. 

You ever thought about how babies are formed?  Childbirth never ceases to amaze me.  From the time we are conceived to the day of labor, I am always left in awe of how human life is created.  After reading this scripture, this very concept became visible to me.  Reading how God equipped us before we even knew He existed blew my edges back.  To make it even more relatable, even our natural parents had a hand in providing for us before we knew them.  Think about it.  The mother has to make sure she is eating balanced meals, taking necessary vitamins, and keeping her stress levels down, all to benefit her unborn child and equip the child with what it needs to continue to live and grow.  Essentially, she is providing for her child before the child even knows her.  Another correlation is when the ultrasound is given and the parents are able to see the child before it is born.  How astounding that before the child is even fully developed the parent has the ability to catch a sight of what’s to come.  Now tying that into the scripture above,  God doesn’t just see a glimpse, but He fully knows who and what we will become before we reach “full term” in our Purpose.   God is fully aware of your future because He has orchestrated it.  

This is what makes the beginning part of the scripture so awesome.  The Lord said there is no one else besides Him.  As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, The Holy Spirit starts to reveal things to us about ourselves.  Usually, when that happens, we tend to doubt The Word of The Lord.  We begin to think that He couldn’t have meant I would be in The White House, a preacher, business owner, or whatever God has called you.  However, we have to understand that God knew us before we were born.  Moreover, He knew us before the very foundations were laid on the earth!  You can bet your bottom dollar that whatever The Lord says about you is true.  Of course, we doubt because of our past, our finite abilities, and countless shortcomings.  Those very things are what proves the above verse to be true.  If we were strong enough, intelligent enough, and perfect enough on our own, why would we need God to help us do anything?  Realize wherever He has called us to, He has also equipped us.  That means He is doing the work and we are just available vessels. 

So, let’s get to work!  Who else can know you before you were even created?  The One Who knew you before the pregnancy test.  The One Who knew you before the sonogram has already equipped you to do whatever He desires.  It is in Him that we live, move, and have our being.  He is the first and the last.  God is not waiting to see how things are going to pan out.  He is already at the finish line.  It is on us to continue to build our faith in Him.  It is on us to rest in the sovereignty of God and trust His Word over our own.  Trust His Words over what anyone says.  Even the people we hold close to us may not understand what God wants you to do and you will have to decide whose report you will believe?  And that is not to cast them away, but pray that they may have the understanding and still love them because He does it for us.  Jesus is constantly praying for us and even when we disagree with the plan God has for us.  Why? Because His Mercy endures fa-evvvvaaa (Cardi B voice).  Haha!   I hope this encouraged you a much as it did me!
