Phil. 4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

Hi Rose Buddy!
Today, I will be discussing something that is normally attached to a negative connotation – settling. Nobody wants to settle. Lawyers despise settling in court because they want the higher pay out. We don’t seek to settle in our careers because we want the higher position. Even in building relationships, settling is not on our check off list. It’s one of the most undesirable spaces to succumb to in life. Well, that was true until now. What if I told you there was good in settling. In fact, there is good even found in the definition. I discovered that there was a polar opposite meaning to this seemingly dreadful word. Allow me to explain.
When looking for the definition I was presented with several meanings. Some of which I have already acclimated. To my surprise, settling is also used to establish, confirm, and appoint. This means when God desires to settle us it is not intended for us to be stagnant. There is intent, a target, and precise aim in His settling. The above scripture speaks on Paul developing the mastery of contentment in whatever state he faces in life. What a profound statement! Possessing contentment is a spiritual gain while facing life’s trials.

Especially since we are still in covid and onlooking another critical election, it is vital that we too grasp this same spiritual concept. I know 2020 may appear that God is silent or that He has turned a blind eye. Let me reassure you that nothing gets passed God. He knew this time would come, how it would look, and the outcome. More specifically for your life, He is not ignorant to the issues that you face. Perhaps, God desires to settle you. That settling may look like growing or discovering divine contentment which is a relentless Peace in Jesus. That settling may unfold as you unlock those hidden chambers in your heart where idols are tucked away. It can also be a deeper level of faith to display in such an opportune time as this! With such hopelessness and despair, God may want to use you to settle someone else in Him. You won’t know until you seek! So, I dare you to seek after His settle, His appointing, and what He desires to establish in you. Anyone can claim a title, position, or accolade, but not many can confidently say they have unlocked a heavenly possession in earthly battles.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to be settled and grounded in you. We are living in a world where settling is futile, but You have made it a fortune! I pray that this time is not used in vain. As I seek after You, download divine treasures so that I can share with the world. Let Your Light gleam in this darkness. Glean in this election, in this country, and in this world! Our trust will remain in You, in Jesus Name, Amen!
Alright! You know what to do. Check out the correlating video by clicking this link! Until next time, PEACE!
