Psalm 30:7 By Your Favor and Grace, O Lord, You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your Face, and I was horrified.
Have you ever been lost or separated from your parents or guardian as a child before? Do you remember how that feels? The moment of panic and short despair crowding each minute and it feels as if they are gone forever. Until, you find yourself back in their presence and they greet you with a warm embrace. Peace is restored. Joy is established and abandonment is demolished. Do you get where I am going with this? If not, don’t worry, I am going to explain.
Being absent from God’s Presence makes me anxious, restless, and afraid. I have concluded that the more I chase everything else or everyone else, I feel less and less Peace and Joy. Sure there are short-lived pleasures that I could find myself temporarily happy in, but only Jesus has proven to truly satisfy me. So, I think of unlocking these truths as hide and seek. Scriptures indicate that there are mysteries hidden in Christ(Eph. 3:4). As believers we are given access to The Holy Spirit to discover those mysteries that were once foreign to us. Therefore, we seek after God. By diligently seeking His His Presence to unlock the Joy, Peace, and Contentment that was once hidden to us. Now, when I find myself in those states of despair it is but a choice. My Father has granted me access to a more abundant life in Christ that exudes victory and freedom.

No longer do I have to live in the state of abandonment or wander as a lost child looking for her parent. I can seek after God and He will supply whatever I need! He makes my path straight. Like a good parent, He leads by example and never lets me wander too far. The God of my life protects me and shows divine approval that I like to call favor. By Grace I am unrestricted and with that freedom my faith is made strong! When I seek His Face, I find myself. I give up seeking everything else! Hiding from God is no longer an option. Instead, I pursue Him to unlock the great mysteries stored in His Word and in Heaven. So, let’s choose to seek The Face of God together and see His mysteries unlock in our lives.
Alright! Be sure to mozy on over to the Tag You’re It and Prayer Tab:) Until next time, PEACE!
